Advanced Pistol

This 2-day course is all about shoot, move, communicate, and thinking under stress. Students should be expected to have already gained knowledge in their 7 fundamentals rules of marksmanship and basic shooting skills. Covered topics include: shooting from cover, clothing considerations, drawing/shooting from concealment, one-hand dominate/support hand shooting, one-hand malfunction clearing/reloading, movement, use of cover, intro to hand-to-hand combative, and low light shooting.

This course will include force-on-force scenarios. Protective equipment, the training guns/ammo for the force-on-force portion will be provided. Intermediate Pistol or equivalent required to be eligible. Approximately 12 hours including live-fire training and a hour lunch break each day.
